Medical tattooing

Medical tattooing can be beneficial to many people for a vast range of reasons, helping to regain a person’s confidence after surgery, illness or trauma.

Various tattooing and skin needling techniques are used to create a number of Medical Tattoo treatments, including 3D Areola Tattoos and Cleft Lip Restoration. These techniques can also be used to recreate the illusion of toe nails and belly buttons after surgery too.

Tanya’s wide range of knowledge in traditional, cosmetic, and medical tattooing make her a unique and highly skilled artist. Her experience in medical tattooing and dealing with scar tissue, paired with her highly developed art and tattoo skills make her the go to artist for any kind of medical tattoo; be it a realist areola tattoo or an ornate floral tattoo design to disguise scarring.

She can also treat the appearance and texture of a range of scarring and skin concerns with Micro Needling; this treatment can be used on a variety of scars, burns, and stretch marks, including surgery scars, self-harm scars and acne scarring.

Micro Needling can be used solely to treat the skin but is also a great treatment to improve the quality of scar tissue and skin in preparation for a tattoo. The possibilities really are endless with Tanya!

Traditional tattooing is also an extremely versatile and has evolved into a hugely artistic and high-quality industry over recent decades. So, it is not surprising that many people are now turning to tattooing as an option to cover up or disguise scarring or body concerns with a beautiful piece of art instead!

Scarring, stretch marks and cellulite are all becoming increasing popular reasons for getting a tattoo. Designs can be drawn to flow and compliment the body, creating shape and contour, as well as covering and camouflaging a list of skin concerns, and putting a beautiful custom piece of art in its place for you to proudly wear on your skin.

Areola Tattoos

Most widely known for helping breast cancer survivors after surgery, 3D realistic nipple tattoos can be tattooed post mastectomy to recreate the areola and nipple. These tattoos play a vital part in the journey for survivors, helping them regain their confidence and body positivity.

These tattoos are also suitable for reconstructing or enhancing the areola from other types of breast surgery, including:

  • reductions
  • enlargements
  • lifts
  • top surgeries

Tanya uses her extensive skillset, knowledge, and artistry from her traditional tattooing career to recreate beautifully realistic areola tattoos for men and women.

Areola tattooing can be used to enhance natural nipples too, adding shape, increasing size, or boosting the colour. Heart shaped areola have also become a popular trend and offer a fun tattoo alternative for many people.

Micro Needling

Micro Needling, also known as Skin Needling or Collagen induction Therapy, is a mildly invasive skin treatment used as a rejuvenating facial and also to treat various types of scar tissue.

Tiny needles lightly puncture the skin triggering a ‘healing’ response from your body, which boosts collagen and elastin levels in the area and increases skin cell renewal. This in turn helps soften scar tissue, improving the appearance, texture, and colour of scars, burns, and stretch marks. This relaxing of the tissue also increases mobility in scarring that is tight or thickened.

This treatment can be used on a variety of scars, burns, and stretch marks, including surgery scars, self-harm scars and acne scarring. Micro Needling is also a great treatment to improve the quality of scar tissue and skin for a tattoo.

Scalp

Also know as Scalp Micro-pigmentation, Scalp Tattooing has become a huge trend over recent years, providing instant, long lasting and affordable results.

Scalp Tattooing is fast becoming a popular alternative, for both men and women, to expensive and painful hair transplants; this tattoo treatment is less invasive, requires no downtime and is practically pain free.

Suitable for all ages,  genders and skin types.
